How to determine the acceptable amount of DMF when synthesizing MOFs?

I have synthesized MOFs already. However, I need to scale it up to produce 100g of MOFs. During my calculation, I need 15L of DMF just for this synthesis! So I thought, maybe DMF is just used as a solvent because it can dissolve various linkers, etc.

I am thinking, should I scale it up to? or just increase the volume up until it can dissolve my reagents? (no specific volume).

I thought you should increase volume of DFM bcz as quantity of MOF increase volume of DFM should also increase for dissolving organic compounds and metal salt
