I have received conflicting comments from reviewers and colleagues on what they consider high and low values of FST in plant population genetics studies. Does anyone know if there is a paper that provides a consensus view on what thresholds population geneticists use to consider plant populations as having low vs moderate vs strong genetic differentiation?

For example, my personal rule of thumb for a microsatellite-based study would be to say FST0.25 I would consider strongly differentiated.

It would be nice to know of a review paper or an empirical paper that discusses these thresholds formally (or even informally). I'm aware of the early Hamrick & Godt papers that summarize the allozyme literature for species with different LHT and of the Lowe & Allendorf (2010) paper on population connectivity. Any other papers, thoughts or personal opinions on this topic would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
