I am currently working on understanding the formation and effects of nickel nitride in ammonia-fueled solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The goal is to find or develop a kinetic model that accurately describes how nickel nitride forms and behaves, enabling better control to improve cell performance and durability.
