Only high quality scientific articles, by real experts & with a content that adds to the present state of knowledge in a given domain, can contribute to global sustainable development. These papers will come as a result of following appropriate steps to attain novel results & will catch the interests of the scientific community, i.e. they will have short and/or long term impacts. The originality contributed by scientific papers is very important but you can see that lot of the published papers revolve about a certain point adding nearly nothing but just increasing the amount of publications of a certain author in order to get a good CV.

Information production (or the paradigm of information society) doesn't play a crucial role in scientific development, but in fact it is the knowledge production (within the paradigm of knowledge society) that does.

DIKW Pyramid or the Knowledge Hierarchy, and was later developed by Russell Ackoff a systems theorist and professor of organizational change as DIKUW is a class of models for representing purported structural and/or functional relationships between data, information, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom as the content of the human mind.

Indeed, findings of science are disseminated through publications as  scientific articles are findings which are either new or augmented/modified ones that promote the usage, growth and expanding the  expanse of science and when this is done through  cooperation at the international level, then that gives science a global feature, usage and sustainability. 

Yes, publication of scientific articles affect the sustainable development of science if that maintains the continuity of science, effectively communicated, converted into technology and disseminated to general public for their benefit.

Knowledge is power .Science has the special mission .It is the development of the research to offer something new for all round development of the present time .

Science is important in the sense that it was with nature covering the five major element which nature has offered to us.

Publication of article certainly offers the knowledge -New Idea & in this line its affects & may be a New Idea for the development.But it is not necessary that any new publication may get the research & the new development as science is wide subject of knowledge & there is every possibility that in the publication the ideas & views of earlier scientist may have also taken into account for the purpose of scientific explanation .

In this case the publication may not come out a frame for the development .

It's hard to say whether the publication of results has an impact on Sustainable Development Research. Of course, no Dating Articles such effects are but a small part THEM OR fragmęty Ltd., are reflected in EVELOPMENT Culture, Science and Progress. I think Michael Issigonis to be right when he says “all results of research efforts can be used now or later, therefore, they all contribute”. This is a very relevant idea for philosophical or philological works. Some thoughts (even wrong from a contemporary point of view) could be interesting for the historians of a science.

I agree to Nizar, but there is some more:

Too many are doing their Research too isolated only in their own ivory Tower of specialist research and even when the direction is good it often lacks the connecting parts.

And on the other Hand, if there is too much novelty in the results, if the direction is too new or too challenging, then there are obviously obstacles to get it published. Too powerfull are the economical and (socio)political interests and turned against sth which might bring a shift in the established pattern.

I totally agree with this, because only by publication of scientific articles one can build on what others have reached and continue. without publications then we might see that many scientists would work on the same item obtaining same results and non know what the others are doing

It is the recorded hard work of the researchers then, now and the future. That's what makes the relationship sustainable and the researchers effort virtuous ones because they add to the dynamics of their findings and attuning it to the timeframe they belong to. Thus the publication is the proof of such sustainable and most viable co-operation and relationship.

Of course, we are all right. Limitations resulting from a small understanding of the subject, the language in which they are published - it all affects the small development of science, and it does not mean that these results and the work of a scientist do not matter. It seems to me that you should also add here the fee in journals indexed, because such works are mostly quoted. and those fees are not small. I think that sometimes a paper or part of a paper may have unexpected consequences.  I was working with a colleague and we were looking at a paper by another person.  He had given four examples in the paper.  One of the examples was an almost trivial case, and my co-worker said, that one won't be any use.  But as we worked, I realized that that was the example that enabled me to see the point that we needed in our paper.
