Thanks to your interest. Certainly, there are a large number of genes which are involved in regulating the response to stress conditions in different mechanisms. But I think exposure to a type of stress will stimulates the more specialized antioxidant genes to regulate response to such stress within certain limits, as long as the stress condition remains within control.
It is interesting question, Dr. Ayoub, regarding your (generally) I would say that all relevant antioxidant pathways will be upregulated. As for the specificity of which certain antioxidant will be upregulated under which stress, it is very difficult because most stress share some components in their pathways, thus you may find drought-tolerant cultivar can tolerate cold or salinity vice versa.
