In the future, perhaps very far in the future, there may be a need to transition from any type of market(e.g. red economy markets or green economy markets) towards sustainability markets either by internal paradigm pressure or as the byproduct of economic cold wars or paradigm clashes so then it will be important to know about the microeconomics of sustainability markets (e.g. the theory of the socially and environmentally responsible firm/consumers) or the macroeconomics of sustainability markets (e.g. The theory of socially and environmentally friendly capitalism or economy).

If the shift towards sustainability markets ever takes place, there will be sustainability market knowledge gap.  Are there textbooks about the microeconomics of sustainability markets or the macroeconomics of sustainability markets?.... Not to my knowledge….

I have more work in this line of thinking to be published in the near future to do my part in closing this knowledge gap.

What are universities big and small all over the world doing about this? Can they see this? Is there a need to write these textbooks or to fully correct old economic textbooks by internalizing social and environmental externalities in old economic theories just in case we need to transition towards sustainability markets in the future?, the evolution of development paradigms predict we will get there. What do you think?
