Once extreme democratic outcomes take place as they did in 2016 in the UK and in the USA they need ongoing targeted chaos to persist.
Trumpconomics can be defined as the type of extreme economic thinking needed to support USEXIT or the working of the extreme democratic outcome represented by President Trump.
And since BREXIT and USEXIT are both extreme outcomes where the minority view wins the majority rule based democratic contest, then it can be said that Brexconomics is the type of extreme economic thinking needed to support BREXIT or the working of the extreme democratic outcome represented by BREXIT.
This raises the question; does the world of Brexconomics have the same extreme liberal democracy structure that the world of Trumpconomics has? I think yes, what do you think?
Trump economics has actually wekaned the democratic structure within US and tilted it further towards right that is not liberal agenda and most critique of this form of governance are very liberal. In contrast Trump economics can at best be considered conservative since they are following isolationist economic policies. Brixit is also an outcome of isolationist economic and governance structure being promoted against liberal for of governance in larger EU.
Brexconomics and Trumpconomics bring the UK and the US closer together.
I cannot detect any free market or liberal agenda, but the clear-cut measure of national protectionism. One political aspect is the centralized EU bureaucracy, the other fact is that globalization (now 30 years after the Soviet collapse) has lead to overcrowded markets and fight for 'market space'. With reference to economic history, age-old rivalries and new ones are emerging in the competitive and anta-gonistic arena of national economies and the protection of living standards.
Dawood, what you described there is in essense the structure of the 2016 extreme democratic outcome I call USEXIT working at it best....Weakening existing majority rule based local and global institutions and rights to push for the best interest of the minority view which suprisingly won a majority ruled based democratic contest....That is the same situation in the UK...
Extreme democratic outcome come to exist because of Targeted chaos and to persist they need a permanent structure of ongoing targeted chaos...The values, the economic thinking, the nature of the democratic outcome, flourish only under chaos.....If you flip the values and structure of a normal liberal democracy you end up with the values and strucjture of the extreme liberal democracy; and then you can see that the only way for the extreme liberal democracy world to persist is to destroy normal democratic institutions, local and globally, to destroy normal economic/science thinking, and the destroy normal democratic values,,,,

Stephen, good day....Both Brexconomics and Trumpconomics are extreme forms of economic thinking inconsistent with normal economic thinking as they are based on choas....they are the type thinking, and the only type of thinking that can support the agenda of an extreme democratic outcome under an extreme liberal democracy model as it is the case with BREXIT and USEXIT.
