I would like to know your suggestions for the question. I am dealing with biological nanopore and for this I need TE buffer of pH 10? I have read that each buffer have its own pH range and TE buffer limits to pH 8.5. So could you please help me in this regard, whether I can prepare TE buffer of pH 10? Because I cannot use any other buffer as I am using KCl as my electrolyte solution, I don't want to increase the variety of ions in my nanopore experiment.

Sure, you can prepare "TE" buffer solution with pH 10.0. However, a buffer capacity of such solution will be very low. This solution will be unable to keep pH constant and can't be called a "buffer." You may use borate buffer to keep pH 10. Borate buffer is pretty much inert chemically and has a very low ionic strength

As Yurii V Geletii has pointed out, buffers have a "useful" pH range, outside the range the buffering capacity an be questioned.
