Hello,

In a recent research work, I conducted repeated measure ANOVA to test our hypothesis.

The methodology used is an experimental design: manipulation of the independent variable (3 conditions) and it's impact on our dependent variable (perception change).

One of the reviewers mentioned in his comments the following:

"As ANOVA compares means under set conditions for SD, the authors have used over-simplistic statistics to test the hypothesis."

Can you please help me understand what he/she means by that? and how possibly I can respond to this comment? What other tests is he/she expecting?

Thank you!
