Hi Mostafa

I do not know much about wave conditions analysis. However, I have used a nice (free) Matlab toolfbox called WAFO which does Extreme Value Analysis on waves. Take a look here: http://www.maths.lth.se/matstat/wafo/

To Marcus, I think the methodology of doing EVA on wave periods is the same as wave heights. I just want to know if it's usual to do such an analysis on wave periods.
