In Massive MIMO, multiple antennas can transmit simultaneously. But, is it practical, that a BS in mMIMO serves two different user groups within a cell simultaneously using two different transmission techniques?
Lets say, if we have K user groups and 1...K/2 are served using Scheme-A and the other K/2+1...K user groups are served simultaneously using Scheme-B.
I want to know the practicability as well as theoretical possibilities.
Yes, this can be done. But I don't know what you have in mind for these two schemes. Why not just serve them in the way described in the textbooks Fundamentals of Massive MIMO and Massive MIMO networks (https://massivemimobook.com)?
I'm not sure what you are refering to the transmission scheme. If you are refering to Adaptive Modulation and Codding (AMC) then yes AMC applies to massive MIMO systems as well, but if you are refering to dividing the antennas among different user groups then I guess it would be irrelevent.

I would like to give a conceptual answer. The different transmissions in mMIMO are distinguished by their space division. So, the transmissions can have the same carrier frequency band, the same time slots and the same code and different base band signals.
