I want to model a parabolic hole in a slab using ABAQUS. Can i do it? if Yes how?

yes, it is possible.
1) in the part module select the slab,
2) in the left ribbon options, select the "cut extrude"
3) you will be gone back to the sketch part
4) draw your section
5) Done.

thank you for the reply, i understand what you said, but even then i think you cannot create a circular parabolic duct at the center of slab.
Can you please draw a sketch? I am not able to get what exactly are you looking for.
In the part module
1. Shape menu (at the top) > Cut > Sweep.
2. In the appeared menu,
(i) Sketch the path, i.e. parabola along the slab
(ii) Sketch profile, i.e. circle on the face normal to the path

Yes its working this way but sir again how do i define the sweep at the center of slab. it is only possible to sweep cut on the faces this way.
Sweep path is independent of the sweeping geometry. You sketch the sweep path at the face and sweeping circle at the center of the slab. That should not be a problem.
