I have images of live cells taken with the EVOS bright field inverted microscope. I know they were taken with a x 10 magnification lens, but unfortunately these images have not come with a integrated scale bar unlike other cell images I have from a different microscope. I know how to use ImageJ to add a scale bar, but that requires me to know what measurement a pixel from the picture corresponds to, which I do not know. I have found a page online stating what a pixel corresponds to from this EVOS microscope in the different magnifications, but I don't know whether that is reliable and is probably not acceptable to use when making my figures. I was wondering if there is another way of establishing what the scale bar for my images is that I might not be aware of? They are exported tif images.
