I believe drinking 100% pure water is undrinkable. I heard that water, in its pure form (without any minerals in it, 100% pure H2O), is deadly to humans.
A fine chemical is one which is ultra pure (very very pure). Assume that we applied efforts to get "fine water" , then its purity will be at best "as is the case in other fine chemicals" 99.99 %. The 0.01 % are impurities which are "stuck" and they are acceptable for practical applications. Some chemical industries use soft water, others use distilled water, others use deionized water, and others can work with tap water. No type of water is 100% pure.
