I want to know that is it possible to innoculate mycorryhza fungi in callus which initiated from root zone? or is it expected that mycorrihza fungi exhibit different reactions to calluses with different sources. for instance root initiated callus or leaf initiated callus?

If you are talking about the AM fungi, then it is difficult to grow on callus, whether it is formed from either source. AM fungi being root symbiont, associate only with the roots. Hence, there must be differentiated callus. Theoretically, all differentiated callus should be associated with AM fungi with some variations.

I think , this is a very intelligently placed question . The possibility , that AMF whether or not will trigger the growth of callu originated from rootzone , will largely depend upon the host specificity of AMF and species of AMF , you are inoculating . This exercise needs to be undertaken first before attempting the later goal..?
I agree with the response of Sr. Anoop Kumar . Apparently certain species of fungi endomycorrhizal establish symbiosis with certain plant species. specificity? In experimental work not published found that some Glomus species always performed symbiosis with cassava,while others did not.

in fact I wanna trace the biochemical functions of symbiotic actions of AMF toward root zone. What is absent in other parts of plans which AMF cant thrive there... hormones? structure? chemical substances? internal tissue gas equilibrium or the philosophy of reciprocal needs?
