I feel that socio cultural factors influencing entrepreneurship will have a mediator variable like entrepreneurial traits do u suggest this
socio cultural factors like education, caste, religion, social networks and family background
entrepreneurial traits like need for achievement, innovation and risk taking
Entrepreneurship and related skill need risk taking ability and innovation as major attributes. Others as you suggested could be complimenting.
There's some controversy about whether such "traits" are measurable or valid.

For entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial traits will be a major determinants, while for entrepreneurial success (particularly in long term) that seems to be having mediating effect.

My own PhD research showed that some sociocultural values (e.g. masculinity/femininity, uncertainty avoidance, etc) have a significant effect on entrepreneurial innovativeness. This study was based on the theoretical argument that individuals within a society learns to behave through "cultural and social conditioning".
Other studies (e.g. Schumpeter) suggest that innovation affects entrepreneurship because it is through innovation that firms can expand their product lines and market segments, while reducing costs.
So if you merge the above arguments into a single theoretical framework, innovation appears to be the "bridging factor" which channels sociocultural values into tangible entrepreneurship outputs. Thus it is possible to hypothesise that innovation mediates the relationship between sociocultural values and entrepreneurship. But you have to be able to argue it out very clearly, otherwise your hypothesis doesn't have a strong scientific basis.

As a suggestion, instead of using entrepreneurship, you could use entrepreneurship intention (GEM). Also, entrepreneurial traits could be replaced by entrepreneurial orientation. Why replacing entrepreneurship? Because there are many other factors (political, economical, etc) thar affects entrepreneurship.
