Is it necessary for our model to be in canonical control form(CCF), in my case electrohydraulic actuator?
I have designed my SMC with S = X2+X3+ C(X1d-X1). I tune unknown parameters by using pso. But the output response is weird and does not follow the reference. I realize my model is not in CCF form. So my question is:
1. The EHA model that I am used is nonlinear model. So before I convert the model to CCF do I have to linearize it?
or
2. Can I use a nonlinear canonical control form?
