i want to know which method is suitable to extract miRNA from serum or plasma use triazole or total RNA column spin or miRNA column spin isolation kit .
many studies used the first first and the second and some used the third. i want th e more suitable as iam afraid because miRNA is small (less than 200 nt). iam not sure if the first and the second can isolate it . the third is expensive

Any of those methods are OK.... depending on your requirements. I used Trizol for a long time, but now I am using the column methods. The Exiqon columns for biofluids are quite inexpensive if you compare with Trizol, with the main advantage of the absence of phenols in your final preparation.

Сertainly, miRNA column spin isolation kit is better. But in total RNA after Trizol extraction also contain miRNA fraction, but in a smaller amount.
Isolation using Kit provide you better purity but lesser in quantity but Trizol gives you better yield and lower quality.
mirVana kit works great for isolation of total RNA, including miRNA. it can enrich for short RNA as well, < 200 nt. Trizol is a cheaper alternative for RNA isolation, but its dirtier
I have had consistently excellent results with the mirVana miRNA isolation kit (using cultured cells or tissues). It isolates total RNA, but has an optional step to enrich for small RNAs. The yield is very good.
You may be talking about precusor miRNA, which are 200 nt long. Mature miRNA are 20 nt long. I used to do with Trizol and okay results.
For miRNA the method of choice is Trizol as with all type of columns you loose RNA smaller than 200 nt. Companies can claim for enrichment but the fact is column chemistry doesn't support small RNAs and you may get false positive or negative results.
