Is intracranial injection of beta amyloid acceptale as a Alzheimer's disease model?

I am trying to evaluate my drug efficacy of clearance of beta amyloid in vivo. but I am not sure whether it is acceptable to inject the beta amyloid intracranially as a AD model?
