I am looking at the protein expression in some specific cell lines including HEK293T on the Depmap portal. However, in the database, I can only find the HEKTE, which is also shown as Non-Cancerous Immortalized Embryonic Kidney Cells, just like HEK293T. Can anybody help me determine if it is the same cell line? Thank you so much!

Nevertheless, besides HEKTE cell line, there are many variants of HEK293 cells that have been developed for specific purposes. I am attaching a paper below which has reviewed these tribes of HEK293, and you may use any one of these to fulfil your purpose in cell culture studies.
