Hello all. I have 95 stations with different climatic variables. I categorized those stations into 5 homogeneous group, but for some groups there is no geographical neighborhood. Can i apply regional frequency analysis when there is no geographical neighborhood for groups?

I am not familiar with specific term geographical neighborhood relative to hydrological frequency analysis, but I have seen instances where some stations such as in Blue Ridge Mountains have very similar flow duration curves and flood frequency, but some stations using regional frequency are quite different from the group, almost outliers for floods. [And complexity emerges when stations such as watersheds include more than one physiographic area or contain complex geology like faults, shear lineaments, karst, etc.]. I have seen on rainfall frequency isohyetal maps, these flood outlier areas have atypical rain rainfall, due to elevation, aspect, etc. To me it is important to also check for station(s) or conditions within the regional network that are unusual or outliers or as you suggested do not fit into groups, or in defined neighborhoods. In areas such as mountainous terrain, I would suggest special care in qualifying use of regional frequency, and some stations are just unlikely to fit well into a grouping or neighborhood concept. If one does not search for abnormal or outliers in hydrologic response, and try to define some reasoning such as higher elevation and rainfall, impervious surfaces or land use issues, structures may be undersized for conditions.
So I had to leave temporarily. So I probably did not speak to it’s importance, and don’t know how you apply it. But there a several things that can affect flood frequency for example, so just recognize that applying regional analyses to some local situations can be problematic.
