Is Calcium Imaging with dyes possible in Cladocera?

Dear RG-community,

I am new to this field and my literature search did not result in anything useful, regarding the use of calcium-sensitive dyes in Cladocera.Is it possible to measure neuronal activity as in other organisms or doues the Carapax autofluorescence prohibit such measurment?. I would appreciate any hands-on experience, anecdote or literature very much.
