There is a belief that Bio-statistics is an innovative field that involves the design, analysis, and interpretation of data for studies in public health and medicine.
My queries is that is it not applicable for other branches of Life sciences also?
By definition Biostatistics (also known as biometry) is related to biological sciences and medicine. So it is equally applicable to life sciences also in designing, analysis and interpretation.
Bio-Statistics as mentioned by first answer that means related the community (community medicine) regarding education ( faculty of Education) as in methods of education as an activity for student , Faculty of Agriculture regarding its branches , faculty of Social Work , adding to faculties related to medicine.
Also commonly used by SPSS (statistical package of social science ) that used by many sciences.
** While medical science should mainly used by STATA that is not common in developing countries except for professionals who make post-MD scholarship.
