I am interested to know what regulations are involved in creating a control plan for vertebrate pests and what differences are in place between these and invertebrate pests. indepth biocontrol information would be happily recieved also but all methods are of interest.
Please, specify what you understand about vertebrate pests. Rodents, other mammals, birds, fishes? Their control strategies differ a lot.
I am interested in all pest types you mentioned. I am particularly interested in all control method options and the ethical issues involved. If you know a few papers that discuss these to get me started then please refer me. Thank you for your interest. Jamie

I am not a specialist in this field but you are able to find some proper information on the net. Good searching.
The control of vertebrate pests depends on the type of the pest .However if it is birds ,the control methods are physical practices such as nets .inserting fruits in paper bags ,sounds ...........etc , the use of bird repellents such as Mesorul Diathen .....etc and the use of sleeping agents .
In case of rodents you can use physical methods such as traps .....etc,acute poisons such zinc phosphide .......etc and chronic poisons mainly warfarin as anticoagulant.The last one includes slow anticoagulant and fast anticoagulant .
Other vertebrate pests can be controlled according the type of pest .Salam and best regards
