I am interested in doing some parasitology study on these amazing, giant amphipods. Its a bit of a longshot but if anyone out there is able to get hold of some I would be very interested in looking at them. Species or location does not need to be specific. Any will do.

some freshwater amphipods in Lake Baikal could also be giants, but I guess you need marine species? If so try ask Irina from Irkuts.

Thank you all for your suggestions! These are all great leads to get hold of some of these amphipods. Luisa and Ton, if you do happen to come across some Giant Amphipods, that can be spared, I would be very grateful to see some.
The work I do involves checking invertebrates such as these for parasites using a range of techniques. The main technique is Histology which allows me to generally search for parasites. If you come across any would you mind popping them in 10% Formalin? Or even better, Davidsons solution (115ml Acetic acid, 352ml water, 314ml 100%ethanol and 220ml 40% formaldehyde) (Injecting is best so the chemicals can penetrate the carapace).
