I used this kit to extract DNA from blood and it gave satisfactory results.

Often, DNA extraction follow the same step (cell lysis, protein elimination and DNA precipitation) so you can try.

Since you have a relatively good source of DNA compared highly pigmented sources like blood and skin why dont you use a much cheaper methods
