I am currently working on a project that involves characterizing FT190 and FT194 cell lines, but I can't find much information about them. I want to know as much as I can about them, including the patient's nationality from which they were derived from and if they are chemo and radiation naive. Thanks!

FT series fallopian tube cell lines were generated from Dr. Ronny Drapkin's lab (University of Pennsylvania).
I have used FT194 (SV40 Tag, hTERT-immortalized human fimbria epithelial cells) Reference: PMID: 22936217，21502498)

That's right about FT194 where only p53 is compromised (dominant negative expression expression). FT series cells are created based on the degree of mutational stress i.e. some cells have single while others have additional mutational burden so as mimic the genesis of cancer in fallopian tube.
Higher mutation carrying cell might be cancerous. Kindly check the genotype status of FT190.
