Is anyone aware of research looking into persister cell capability by Lyme spirochetes?

My recently published review found no citations on persister cell research specific to Borellia burgdorferi. Am interested in any research in progress on this subject.

Here's a paper of in vivo persistence by Borrelia burgdoferi. I am not surprised; i think most, if not all, bacteria can likely form persisters.
