In Alzheimer's disease, beta-amyloid accumulates in senile plaques. I am a physicist who wants to develop a new method for measuring the beta-amyloid in vivo, but I don't know the amount of accumulation to order-estimate the sensitivity. Please let me know the physical amount of the beta-amyloid, that is, weight (mg), density (mg/mL), denaturation rate (%), etc. A signal is obtained from a denatured protein, and another signal is obtained from normal proteins, i.e., noise. I want to estimate the signal/noize ratio.
