Is it will be correct if I put Iron phosphate instead of Tricalcium phosphate during pikovskaya media preparation, for the determination of Iron phosphate solubilizing bacteria?
Yes! Fe (III) PO4 and AlPO4 can be used in comparison with TCP(tri calcium phosphate). Because, PSB is expected to be found in either acidic or alkaline soil. In case of acidic soil, reactive Fe and Al can fix/bound Phosphate. In contrast, the alkaline soil is predominated by tricalcium phosphate (TCP).
So you can modify the composition of PKV media. Even, you may try with some recent modified composition, because PKV is very old reference. Be careful in such case about the micro nutrient toxicity limit for Fe and Al for the bacterial survival capacity. You may try with several conc. of Fe and Al salts for proper investigation.

Chandra Sekhar Paul Stabilization? or Solubilization? If it is for stabilization, I do not have any idea about it. But if for solubilization, then as like as previous while you use TCP for PKV media. PSI (Phosphate Solubilizing Index) for qualitative agar assay measurement and for quantitative analysis by broth culture and subsequent spectrophotometric analysis. Blue complex or Yellow complex are two widely used quantitative analysis.
