Does anyone know the influence of nanoparticles on surfactant critical micelles concentration? if i add nanoparticles (e.g. ZnO nanoparticles) to anionic surfactant (e.g. SDS), will the CMC concentration becomes higher or lower? For example, without adding NPs, CMC is 0,5 mM. when i add NPs, will it become 0,4 mM (CMC reached using less surfactant) or 0,6 mM (more surfactant can be added before reach its CMC value)? And what's the reason/mehanism behind it (changes of CMC value)? Thank you.
