Specialists in media and communication sciences differed on the issue of arranging the elements of the systematic chapter, some of them preferred writing previous studies after the research problem, and some preferred the presence of previous studies at the end of the systematic chapter.
In your opinion, what is the correct location of previous studies in research?

First discuss the research problem, where you will use a number of studies to substantiate and justify state why the research is necessary. Thereafter, you can discuss the previous studies. This is my personal preference, but others may use a different layout!
Dear Qayssar Jabbar Gatea , I think it depends a bit on what is meant by 'research problem'. If it refers to the general topic of your paper, you should start with it (this is what the introduction of a paper should be used for) and then follow up with related research. If it refers to a proper reseach question you want to test in the empirical part of your publication (and which may or may not be accompanied by more detailed hypotheses), it should come after the literature review because you should use previous studies to detect research gaps and thus derive your own research question(s) from them.
I focus in my question on the "previous studies", is their correct location after the research problem or after the elements of the methodological chapter, such as the importance of the research, the research objectives, the research community...etc.?
