As you can see in the image file, I want to make Br-C12-dithiocarboxylic acid form.
However, I don't know how to control the amounts of reactant.
I tried 'Mg:alkane=1:1 equiv' but many byproducts are happened.
Also I want to know the eluent condition of using thiol-end part because thiol has an interaction with silica material in column chromatography..

Starting with a symmetrical molecule like that, I'd use much less than an equivalent of Mg to reduce the chance of reactions at both ends of the dibromide. I still would expect a mixture of compounds.
As an analog to carboxylic acid, I'd expect the compound to be very polar, and require very polar solvents to elute it from silica. What conditions did you use for silica gel column chromatography? You could consider other column types (alumina, diol bonded phase) if the compound decomposes on silica.
