Among all authors of a research paper which author can be most reliable for acceptance of a paper at the earliest feasible time

Though all auhtors have equal role, the name and previous publications of the corresponding auhtor speaks much I guess sir when a manuscript goes for a review
According to my opinion, in team work creativity such as research article no difference should be considered between first author and last author. In fact all of authors have similar vital role in this creativity. It would be usual that corresponding author should be accept informative role for more information.
Unfortunately, sometimes we should be observed illogical competition in this scenario between young authors.

Some journals send the communication/email regarding revision to all the authors. So whoever see the email first can tell others.
1st author enjoys advantages of being cited by his name and corresponding author gains more share as databases will pick that name for many analysis.
Definitely corresponding author play a major role. In some of the Journals they asked three referees list so if proper referees list is given than it will be effective. So I am agree with Noble K Kurian that Contact and corresponding author.

The corresponding author is more responsible person for designing, working, analysis of data and writing paper. He is responsible after publication of paper also.
