I am trying to simulate interleaved dc dc boost converter in simulink and I am currently working on feedback part. I have designed the type 3 compensator for voltage feedback.After deriving transfer function when I try to simulate model then compensator's output increases like ramp function.Can anyone suggest how can I tune compensator so I can control duty cycle?
I had experienced same issues while designing interleaved Cuk converter. There is not exact way of tuning your gains. One close way is to use Ziegler-Nicholas tuning rules. If you go with hit and trial, try to use a constant proportional gain and vary integral gains in small increments untill you see the ramps assuming the shape of ripple and then tune proportional gain. I hope that works.
I got tuning by hit and trial however i am not getting inductor currents interleaved.I have question that what capacitance value should we take for calculation of resonant frequency while designing compensator ? Either Cout or (Cout/no of interleaving stages)?Is there any specific way that we can calculate transfer function of type III compensator for voltage control mode for interleaved boost converter?
