I am looking for a proper protocol for the Nitric oxide scavenging activity and according to the principle, the absorbance should decrease with increasing concentration, but I am getting increased absorbance. I request you friends to guide me

@yurii v Geletii sir in the question it should be anti-oxidant .. by mistake I have written it as oxidant
The Griess reagent does not measure NO, it's used for quantification of nitrite. Strong antioxidant such as ascorbic acid or polypenolics decrease the yield of the formed dye. The protocol "Measurement of nitric oxide scavenging ability" in the cited paper is not correctly interpreted.
Please read the paper that i have attached it will help. Antioxidant decrease NO level with increasing antioxidant concentration
