In an RPA reaction, when should I add 5% DMSO?

I have to add 5% DMSO to reduce primer dimer in the RPA reaction. When Should I add it?

Should I add during master mix making or after amplification, or after DNA purification?

In my experience DMSO is not a good solution for primer dimer. Instead you can raise the temperature by 2 C or try the best solution by designing a new primer.
