I am planning to edit the binary vector "pCAMBIA 1301" to insert a new gene and will be cutting out the right border in the process. My plan is to reintroduce the right border along with the ~100bp of sequence that would be cut out by my digestion in order to preserve any overdrive sequence (T-DNA transfer enhancing sequence).

Upon searching though, I wasn't really able to find the overdrive sequence in the pCAMBIA 1301 vector and was thinking it might improve T-DNA excision/transfer to instead introduce one I found in literature.

Can anyone comment on the importance of the overdrive sequence following right borders in Ti plasmids?

The only papers I have found are rather dated and I could use some current, real life commentary.
