What I was suggesting is that if you are fabricating ISCOMs, is there a reason to not use an off-the-shelf saponin? There are many varieties that others have spent time and energy isolating and packaging. Only trying to save you work. If you are looking for novel saponins to use, then of course you'd want to isolate. In that case, I'd have no idea, and I'm sorry to be useless. :)
saponin containing plants are world wide speared and appear usually as foam in plant extract..one succsusful method is direct foam seperation..If it not enouph you need biochemist....best wishes
We not trying to reinvent the wheel here, because saponins are group of biologica active compounds can be isolated from different types of plants in an attempt to investigate some properities and my be used as alternative cure ...etc. P.S. nice hair
