Has anyone experiences in staining against iNOS in PFA-fixed and cryopreserved brain tissue of nude mice? I´d be very grateful for any suggestion: Protocol, company, concentration, pre-treatment, etc. Please get in touch with me and I´ll send you further details of the abs we´re currently testing and the protocols I´ve used.
would you like stain the brain with iNOS or nNOS ? in my former lab we used iNOS of Abcam to stain macrophages in the lungs. It worked very well. If you still need the protocol pls contact me.

Actually we worked with BALB/C mice and C57BL/6, you can test on nude mice :-). And we did immunofluorescence staining, but I think if it works in immunofluorescence it also works in IHC. You can find protocol in this paper: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4088366/
