I'm doing a Master dissertation. And my research aim is to investigate how individual factors in the workplace such as intrinsic motivation, proactive personality etc impact employee creativity mediated by unlearning (the process of abandon old, out-dated knowledge and skills to learn new ones. I just explained briefly).

And after data testing in SPSS, the data showed that unlearning can not work as a mediator. According to this situation, could anyone kindly give me some advice what should I do now to find out the problems and solve it? And will this research be unsuccessful and lesss worthwhile to study? Thank you all!

More detailed information:

I have 5 independent variables and two of them can work with mediator(unlearning) if I test independent variable individually, but if I put them together into a box together to test with mediator, mediator failed to mediate the realtionship between independent variale and depedent variable.
