Most of the recipes I see for phosphate buffers revolve around using the mono and di-basic salts of the acid.
Since all the potassium phosphate salts can be synthesized from potassium hydroxide and phosphoric acid, could a buffer simply be made by using the acid and base in the correct molar ratio?
Thanks
