I've been working with Bergon's time/duration and chrons/kairos (as articulated by Kingwell, 2014) dichotomies with respect to policy. I'm interested in how policy (not just democracy, as Kingwell discusses) is connected to divergent versions of time. I'm also interested in how capitalism (and taylorism within it) have changed the way that people assign value to and use time (e.g., Debord's critiques and observations).

I'm seeking any sorts of suggestions that might challenge or enrich my inquiry - ranging from other complementary or contrary conceptions of time, to applied work on time as it is reflected in policy or political activity.
