I'm looking for some ideas to implement a liquid-cooled power indcutor (that carries around 30A average current) for a 10kW DC-DC converter. This system has no fans and only uses a cold plate for extracting heat out of the hot components (including switches, transformer and power inductors). So, the power inductor should be cooled using the cold plate (by directly mounting on it or any other suitable means). We use torrid magnets (doughnut shape ) for this power inductor (which is challenging to be properly mounted on a cold plate because of its shape and the wires around it).
Does anyone have any idea about how to mechanically design this indcutor so that it can be cooled with a cold plate?
Thank you!
