I think that both systems are able to provide anticorrosive effect, but I belive that epoxy is better than zinc ethyl silicates due to highest hydrophobicity.

I worked with both. The inorganic character of the Zinc Ethyl Silicate leads to a better corrosion resistance. Maybe adhesion and coatability are difficult
