I will do analysis i-RNA and i-DNA with microarray in Japan. Does any body could help me why it is much better to take human serum rather than DNA or RNA extracts from my country (Indonesia)?

the problem with biological samples (DNA or RNA) and transport is the degradation during transport. Depending on the way you extracted the samples, the impact of degradation will be higher on RNA. the best way is to extract samples and keep them in alcool and low temperature during transportation.

You are better off transporting purified DNA/RNA than the serum samples.
Things can get messy and heavy, except you are interested in analyzing the serum.
