This will depend on the oxidation state of the elements. Fe(III) are quite similar to Al(III), but it is easy to find reactions that can seperate Fe(II) from Al(III).
thanks for your guide. in my liquid solution all of the Fe are (II). is it possible to omit AL by adding NaOH (pH=5) without missing concentration of Fe (II)?
It seems the most obvious to increase the pH, but you most also consider the oxidation stage of the other elements. E.g. as pH increases it might be that Fe(II) or Mn(II) could precipate as sulfides if S is in the -II state.
