I will be using secondary data that has been collected, i have added a snapshot of how the questionnaire looks like on the attachments. I need to quantify the data as this is a quantitative study on South African citizens attitudes and perceptions towards technology adoption.
The data was collected in all nine provinces in South Africa.
The table as presented is in effect a set of Likert scales that classify the data into characteristic sub sets without any scalar basis. Such data sets may be analysed using what are known as nom-parametric ranking and ordering methods. Quoting from the Journal ‘The American Statisistician’ and the paper ‘Nonparametric Statistics by Sidney Siegel’ Pages 13-19 | Published online: 11 Apr 2012, the Chi-square tests, also the Spearman Rank correlation test and the Fisher exact probability test would be a suitable approach.
