Using small branck/rod (vegetative propogation) is not a good practice to get the maximum biomass in short span on time. please for for seedlings only. Now a days lot of company selling the high yielding hybrid seedlings.
Here in Canada, we have recently planted cuttings of 2 poplar hybrids. They seem very fast growing. We got them from Derek Sidders. You may want to ask him.
