In agar diffusion assay, how I determine the no of microorganism that need to plate out to carryout assay.
Hi Janitha, the recommended CFU/mL for disk diffusion/Kirby Bauer involving E. coli is 0.5 McFarland or 1 to 2 X 10^8. Kindly refer to the paper attached for the details. Good luck.
